problem with reconcilliation

I was starting the reconcilliation when I put the ending balance in it's slot. Instead of hitting tab, I hit enter, which ended the whole reconcilliation. I don't know how to undo that and can't seem to get it to change thebeginning balance amount...which is now the ending balance amount. Any suggestions??

When you did that, the program force balanced the account by making an adjustment entry to Opening Balance Equity for the difference. Go to that account and open it's register. Locate the entry and delete it. You should be back where you started. You can also find the entry in your check register. Either way, just delete that entry.
