View Full Version : Customer Detail vs Transaction Detail

"Customer Detail" accurately shows all payment received from our customer. However, in the "Transaction Detail By Account" all payments are not shown. Both reports are set for "Last Fiscal Year."

Therefore, the P&L does not reflect the correct Income for our company. The difference beween actual and shown is over 2:1.

How can we get a report that shows ALL payments (cash basis) received?

Why do not all payments received show in the Trans Detail by Account when they are show in the Cust Detail.

Look at the filtering information for your report. Is the report set up for cash or acrual? Is the appropriate form of payment and the appropriate account included in the filter selection?

Did you use an income account for the payment?

Does the total figure for income account on your transaction detail report equal the total figure shown on the register for that account at that date?

Answering these questions may throw light on the problem. If you do not understand the questions, let me know.
