I am currently having my shopping cart generate an IIF output so all new customers can be imported in batch every night. Unfortunately I was never able to find credit card number fields to map my data into in the IIF customer import spec. Someone told me that it is possible to do this by mapping the data to another field and then apparently it magically ends up in the credit card fields on the customer record in QB, but they were unable to tell me how exactly to do this. Is there a way to import the credit card info? How are other people dealing with not apparently being able to directly dump in the CC info?

I'm using QB2002Pro

Thanks

I have all of the data for the invoice and for creating the customer record, but need to import the credit card number, the name on the credit card, and the expiration date.

This will save a lot of time!!!

I'l experiment with the custom fields. The iif information is generated from our shopping cart (web site). The area that you're most likely to make an error, and that takes the most time, is entering in the credit card information. We use QBP2001 to complete the cc transactions.

What is your impresion on the XML interface into QBP2002? Do you feel there is more access and potential for additional features and control for importing and exporting data?

AirlineMuseum: Can you send me the IIF format you use for importing sales transactions? I can't seem to come up with a workable one by using QB Pro 2001's help files. Thanks
