I am a new user for QB Basic 2002. The accountant gave me a floppy with two files, one a .qbl and the other a .QBB. I cant import or open either one, the help files tell me all info has to be IIF format. The accountant is 100/hour, Intuit is 40/hour. What file format do I ask for the transfer? Is a transfer even possible?

I don't know what the .qbl file is, but the .qbb file is a back-up file. You should be able to Restore it rather than Open or Import.
