customize invoice doesn't save?

I customized my invoice, clicked save, went back into it, and it was still the default....none of my changes had saved. Did it twice more. Same results. No customization. What did I do wrong?

Did you print a sample? The screen view seldom looks like the printed version.

I am having the same problem. I tried to print and none of my changes showed up.

How about the name? Does the new invoice template name show as the active template?

Actually I found another thread you had responded to that said after you use that template for the first time it gets set as the default. I was trying to print a copy straight from layout designer and it was just printing the original blank default template. Thanks for the help
