My newspaper says that Sage shares went up yesterday on speculation of microsoft interest in the company.

Lets hope this starts firing Intuit up again.

With Intuit's decision to support payroll only on the latest version of its software (i.e not only will you have to pay a subscription for payroll but you will also need to pay to upgrade the software) I think Sage shares may well be on the up without any interest from Microsoft.
