We have been running 99 PRO ( 2 simultaneous users), but installed on 4 computers. In this setup, only two can access the company file.
I specifically asked Intuit if the 2002 5 user multipack was an upgrade, ie, required an existing copy to install. I was told this was hot the case.
I asked the same question a different way, ie, "I do not have quickbooks installed anywhere in this company. Can I install this package and have five users in the company file at the same time?" Yes! NO Problem!
Now for the rest of the story.....I received the CD's today....you guessed it. The label on the back states, "This upgrade version requires a previously installed version of QuickBooks to install successfully." Shucky Darn! That really burns me!
Can I install my old software three more times, upgrade and have five users in the company file at the same time?
I believe that I will be limited to two in the company file at the same time....
Anyone know the answer? I sure hate to sit on the phone for hours to return the UPGRADE!
