What are the repercussions if my employer does not remit payroll deductions to Revenue Canada?:confused:

He will get caught! once the T-4's are issued, there is no way for him to escape.

Even if the company were to close, as the owner he/she is personally responsible for all taxes collected from his employees.

Just to add, this is a very serious offense, when I worked for a CA firm we had a client that was simply late paying. They ended up getting a visit from a cra auditor who in turn met with us and explained that there can be jail time for owners of a company who do not pay.
