View Full Version : Reports problem - item quantity totals

I've attached a file to make this easier to understand. I need to be able to quickly see how many of any given item I've sold ... could be for a month, year, whatever.

I'm in Reports > Sales by Item Detail. Under type you'll see a grouping I've created called "Pandeiros". Under Pandeiros there are items and subitems. As you can see, for Totals there aren't any for Qty. I can't understand why QB wouldn't show that. It's such an important number.

I'm running QB for Mac 2010 V11.07 R8

Thanks in advance,
Scott

This is not an option in this QuickBooks report in your version. (it is an option in PC v2011)

You can export the report to excel and add the totals there.

Or, create a different report, send it to excel, and use a pivot table to manipulate the data.

I hope this helps,

Thanks for the reply Laura. That's too bad... seems like such an important (and basic) feature. Do you know if it's part of the latest Mac version? I would love to not have to export to Excel for this.

You are very welcome.

Not sure about the latest Mac version (however, I would doubt it, since it is a little behind the desktop in the new features).

Since this is the Mac Forum do you think there's someone out there who knows for sure? Hopefully they'll come along and spot this thread...

That's too bad. Do you know if the developers check this forum?

From within QuickBooks, submit feedback.
