Reconcile HELP!

Please help! I am trying to start a new reconcile for this month but my last month total is out $500 so the starting amounts don't match. I found the discrepancie and it is because my accountant who just did my year end deleted $500 from my GMC account that takes out my vehicle payment directly from my bank account each month. But the vehicle payment is $248.60 a month so I am not to sure where the $500 came from and I don't know how to fix it so that my balances match up. I am using QuickBooks Pro 2008 if that helps!
