Paypal history download

Hi there -

Has anybody tried to download their PayPal account activity history into Quickbooks?

You may not have even noticed the feature, but if you go into your PayPal account and view your transaction history, there is an option to download it. When you select that option, you are further offered to select which format you'd prefer. One of the formats is Quicken, and one is Quickbooks.

I am using Quickbooks 2001 Pro. I selected Quickbooks format for my download, but Quickbooks tells me that the file is incompatible or corrupt, and I'm unable to import the information. I've tried several times already.

Any help would be appreciated.

I tried it and it works fine for me. Pretty neat feature. What is the exact error you're getting?

I also have a problem with Paypal histories and QB (Pro 2001). I can import the .iif file, but it doesn't indicate on the customer's register that they paid.
It creates a journal entry.
