Back Orders !

Why can't Quickbooks Pro handle backorders? Looks like they would have added that feature by now.

I had this same question after I installed
QB2002 Pro last week, I posted a question
on this web site but got no responses. I bit
the bullet and called QB support it cost me
80 bucks and they came up with a way to do it.
Its alot of steps, so I don't think I could
tell you how to do it (It consist of making
the back order invoices "pending" and then
make a memorized report for "back orders" and
once the back order has been shipped, take the
pending off of the invoice......but there are several set up steps that I don't remember or would take too long to type). I hated having to give in to QB support but once I did they were very helpful and the 80 bucks is cheaper than having to buy a high end accounting program.
It works for me!
Oh.....I don't work for Intuit.
