When attempting to backup (takes 3 3.5s) when prompted to insert a second disk. I do this and disk appears to be written and then I get the message "your data is not backed up the disk you inserted must be bad." "retry with another disk". I get the same message each time. When I first upgraded to QBPro 2001 the backup worked fine now I get the above. I am backing to a Zip drive but accountant doesn't have one. One thought is to backup to a CD-R on the network (probably not allowed)
Reformat (full format w/verify) and run a scandisk on the floppys and then try it. You may also want to verify your data file.

I back up daily on 14 3.5 disks. QB will not back up if you have a problem on one of the disks. I agree that reformatting the disks should show you which disk is bad. I also remote back up every day and I back up on CD once a week. The way I do that is to back up my company file on my desktop. I then burn a copy on my CD. I usually change 3.5 disks every week to two weeks because of the problems I have with them. Good Luck.
I agree with RE2112. I would back it up to your hard drive and them put it onto a CD. You could also e-mail it if you want to.
