I am using QB Premier 2008 for accounting a non-profit charity. Former accountant went directly to "Make Deposits" and entered a check received in early 2010 for a substantial grant. QB is allowing me to enter an invoice into the customer's file and to receive a payment so there will be history of the grant. However, it also creates a deposit. I cannot delete the original deposit because it was reconciled almost a year ago and I don't want to duplicate the deposit either. How can I handle this transaction in QB? :confused:
