A little bio.
I own a plumbing & HVAC biz & have been using Quickbooks all the way back to I think 4.5? That was 1995 or 1996 or so. Zero training- just dove in head 1st & learned by fail method.
I usually upgrade every year or 2 & my current is QB pro 2009. I run my biz on it & am getting ready to take over my wifes biz & move it from manual ledgers to QB. I'm also in a car club & am the 2011 treasurer & will be using QB- replacing Excel used poorly by others. I have lots of questions about setting up the club, as I see nothing that parallels it & I will need some help setting up the "company" files.
