Adding to Payment Method List

I want to add new payment methods through payment method list. I go this route but when I go to pay bills I cannot see the new ones I have added. I use Quickbooks Pro 2008. I would be grateful for any help.

You may have to close then re-open QB, I've had this problem in the past as well, and the above solved.

It would seem that when QB opens it reads all the tables, so when you add a new item, term, etc. QB doesn't know its there yet.

The options for Pay Bills are just Check, Credit Card and On-line Bank Pmt. It does not use the rest of the types in the Payment Method list.
