We recently upgraded from Quickbooks Online to the Enterprise version of QB, which was executed by Quickbooks.

The balances, but not the data, from Online carried to Enterprise. We cannot reconcile bank accounts because the details did not carry over. Looking at journal entries, 1/2 of the entry is visable.

The QB Enterprise help desk has not been able to solve the problem.

Has anyone else encountered this problem? How did you resolve it?

That's really weird. I've had online files converted to the desktop versions of QB and never had a problem losing detail like that. I've only done it to Pro & Premier, but I have no idea why Enterprise would be any different.

Have you tried converting again? That's where I'd start.

Just the basics; the online will only export into Enterprise 4.0 thru 10.0 (all industries except nonprofit and Retail), and if you'd like to see detail you need to choose export lists and transactions not export lists and balances.

Assuming that's been done, and there is still problem, call online tech support and request Level 3 tech support or higher. Don't waste your time explaining what's going on to anyone of lower tier. Inspite of being told otherwise the info does not carry from one level to another.

You can then ask them to redo the export and analyze the problem. I just had one of their techs spend few weeks analyzing my file, (conversion problem) free of cost. It was the first positive experience I had with QB tech support.
