backlog sales items

I recently upgraded to quickbooks pro 2002 and I see no way to keep a report on sold items that have not been shipped (backlog). I like quickbooks but this is a problem for my business. I would like to find a way to keep track of which items are sold but not shipped.
Any ideas would be appreciated!
