Upgadeing from version 5

I am running quit an old version of QBs, and I feel that it is time to get upto date.


If I upgrade to say version 10, which I think is QB 2002 can I just restore a backup from QB 5, or is it more complecated.

What I am really worried about is, can it be done at all since Intuit have stopped surporting (if surport is the right word)version 5 for sometime.

Very graitful for any help you can give. (since I want pay Intuit for surport)

You can upgrade directly from v5 Release 11 to the 2002 and 2003 versions.

Find Release and Version by pressing CTRL and 1 with QuickBooks open.

Well it was harder than I expected had to convert my data 3 times, but what the heck it only took 3 hours.
