Using Quickbooks Pro 2001
Quickbooks file is loaded on a server
Old Windows 98 PC has no problem accessing the data file on the server
New Windows 2000 PC issues the following message when opening the file prior to asking for a logon into QB.
Quickbooks was unable create the image file. The disk could be full or you may not have sufficient rights to the data directory.
No other clues given as to what to check. I have approx. 20GB of free space on the drive and have all data rights to everything in the server directory.
Odd thing is, this error only happens if I am not the first one to access the file on the server.
If I am the first person to acces the file, everything opens up and works fine.
Need to resolve this issue before upgrading everyone to Windows 2000.
