Microsoft .NET Framework Errors (many)

We have a client that is running Quickbooks Enterprise Solutions - Manufacturing and Wholesale Edition 8.0 from their server. :D

When I log onto their server using an RDP session, I immediately get an error box :confused: listing the following:

Microsoft .NET Framework

Unhandled exception has occured in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Qui, the application will close immediately.

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this

For example:

If I say Continue, the box reappears. If I click on Quit, it goes away. :eek:

Wow, I am surprised that no one else has encountered this problem! :eek: :eek: :eek:

I am sure there are people that have had this problem but maybe they paid the fee and had a Quickbook Tech Support fix it. :(

I have a 1/2 dozen different users who use RDP and Quickbooks, but they've never had a .Net crash like that. However, my event log is full of Event 4 errors, and even after two years of complaining, the response from QB tech support is only "ignore it". So I suspect that in your case, the two symptoms are unrelated.

I have recently run into the same error on my system. Did you find a resolution to it?

Have you tried uninstalling .NET, restarting the PC and installing .NET?
That has fixed some of the .NET issues in the past.
