H E L P ! ! !
We are running Quickbooks 2000 Pro on a PentiumIII 750Mhz workstation under "Windows 2000 Professional". The workstation has 128MB of RAM and has plenty of space (multiple GB available) on the harddrive. Our network file/print server is a PentiumIII 550mhz machine running "Windows 2000 Server" (with lots of RAM and harddrive space as well), and our network printer is a Xerox XD125f multi-function printer.
We have no problems printing checks and/or reports from Quickbooks, however, when we try to print Forms 941 or 940, the workstation re-boots.
We have applied the latest service packs to both the workstation and the server. We are using the most current print driver available from Xerox, and we have researched the issue on the Quickbooks web-site to no avail.
Short of calling Intuit and paying them an egregious amount of money for technical support, are there any suggestions out there? Has anyone else had this happen to them? If so, were you able to solve the problem?
