QB vs Peachtree

We have 2 restaurants. Have recently had lots of trouble with Peachtree 8.0 tax tables for 2003 upgrade. Should I upgrade to Peach 2003 OR change to Quick Books?

That's probably only a decision you can make. You have to look at what the cost it going to be to convert. QB is a nice program, but there is no conversion from Peachtree, so basically you are starting from scratch. Plus the qb tax tables cost $169 per year. So probably if you can't resolve your tax table problem in peachtree, upgrading to their newest is probably going to be less costly as far as conversion and learning period goes.

12 years ago when I was looking for Accounting software, I originally picked Peachtree. It was way too difficult to use and someone led me to Quicken. I have been upgrading ever since. I am now using Quickbooks Pro 2002. It is awesome. It is so easy to use - no guess work.
