I'm using Premier Nonprofit 2009.
Is there a way to print a report similar to the Programs/Projects Report that only has current class balance? I've been asked for a list without all the detail and can't figure out how to do it.
Any help you can provide will be awesome. Thanks!

Try using the Custom Summary report and then modify it and set Date to This Year to date and set Display Columns by to Class and Display Rows to Account List. Click the Advanced button and set both Display Rows and Display Columns to Non-Zero.
This will give a summary of all Classes balances for this year.

I was hoping for a summary list, SHORT example:
General Fund: $xxxx.xx
Education Fund: $xxx.xx
Any way to do that?
At least there is a way to summarize for the year to date. It doesn't make a short snapshot report for my board, however!
I don't think there is a quick way to do this type of report. I used to want to do the same thing for my board members. I think the current person at my work who gives these reports exports enough info into Excel to come up with a specialized report to give the board members.
