I have yet to see a good report on QB POS. Many have returned it. Others wish they could. If you search here you will find much more negative than positive about it.

I found a package that is less money than the QB POS and has a very good track record. The people who write the program have been doing POS since the 80's.

Entire package, with scanner, receipt printer, cash drawer and software is under $ 1,000. It will export to QB (not on-line version) or you can do a single entry each day and keep up to date - even the on-line version.

No, I don't think so. I checked the help index and I couldn't find it, so I doubt it works.

Hang on a sec ... ok, I poked around on QuickBooks.com and I ended up here:

And then I clicked on "Retail" and it came up with a list of a bunch of pos products that work with QB. Here:

I don't know anything about them, but maybe one of them would work with Online?!
