Hi BJ, and thanks for responding. My problem is simply that I just cant get QB to print P45 by using 'P45 for Leavers'. Now I can get the info easily enough other ways, and fill in the P45 manually.

I print P45's regularly and the only problem I've had with "leavers" is remembering to force the leaving date backwards if they leave in a week they are not due to be paid in. Presumably you are entering a leave date in the employee details (bottom right of address tab). As long as the leaving date is prior to the week you are running, this should produce a P45 when requested.
