T4 amounts 2007

On one of the T4s there is an amount showing in Box 42 and I do not know where it came from. I have no payroll item marked as such. I have no one on commission. I have searched the individuals cheques and can not find it. Can someone tell me how we verify/find the detail behind the numbers on the T4?

I use the Canadian QB, but don't use Payroll, so I can't be too much help. That T4 box is definitely for commissions. My only suggestion is to run reports for the employee in question and keep "drilling down" until you find the amount. You might even find it by searching for the amount. Something must have been incorrectly allocated during the year - a bonus? vacation pay? back pay? expenses? per diems? Good luck!
