gst tax application

hi i am on a computer recently upgraded to quickbooks pro 2008 and i did the guided install and copied preferences from 2007. My problem is that when making invoices it doesnt allow me to add a new gst tax since the gst has changed in canada to 5%. i tried to add a new one with a new code but when its time to make invoices it does not show up in the list.
How can i overcome this problem?

Did you use Lists/Tax Codes List/Tax Code/New to create the new GST tax code? Did you rename the old one, or give the new one a different name? If you run the report Reports/List?Tax Code, does the new tax code show up?

Well i played around alittle inside quickbooks and well i got it to work it was inside the sales tax menu i had to edit one of the tax....
