Does sync to Outlook work for you?

Can someone please confirm or deny that syncronizing data to Outlook works with Quickbooks Pro 2001 with update 4 or higher applied?

Syncronizinging to Outlook worked fine for me until I downloaded update 4. Now I get a weird error and the sync is cancelled.

I synced with outlook in R3P and it worked fine. After R4P I started having major problems with time sheets and recordation. I downloaded R5P and my problem still exists. After numerous phone calls to the accountant and QB tech. support, I was told that R4P has some bugs that needs to be tweeked out. I am now awaiting contact from Intuit engineering department.
