import/export account numbers and names

We use account numbers as well as names in QB 2005. I am trying to import journal entries and budgets using account numbers and names. I have performed exports of budgets and COA to verify the syntax.

Even if I record the budget within QB with acct numbers and then export budgets, the account numbers do not export. When I use the correct syntax to import budgets or journal entries including the account number, the account numbers do not import. (Everything else imports for the budgets and journal entries.)

What can I do to get the account numbers to import/export?

Take a look at DataMover at www.personable.com. Data Mover allows users to easily preview their data and edit the mapping before they finalize and import the data into their QuickBooks file. Invoices, purchase orders, and other documents can be imported into QuickBooks. Hope that helps.
