1099

Can somebody please help me.

For a construction company, if I set the workers as employees, how can I make a 1099 report for them to do their taxes.
Or should I set them as subcontractors elegible for 1099.


Any input will be appreciated.

To utilize the 1099 tracking in QuickBooks, they must be setup as Vendors, not employees.

When you setup a vendor, one of the vendor tabs has an option to identify this particular vendor as subject to 1099's.

Setting them up as employees will not allow you to generate 1099's in QuickBooks.
