need help! about items- sale unit and inventory unit

hi buddies,

Items have been created already(sale unit and inventory unit are the same) in the QuickBooks. But right now, the sale unit will be changed. How can I change the sale unit while the transaction was recorded beofore.

If the Unit is the Qty field, changeing it will not affect the previously entered transactions. If you are "changing" from a "unit of case" to a Unit of Each" for sale , you may have to change the unit you purchase by to keep inventory the same. I understand that QuickBooks has made changes in this area and I do not have a copy of it yet. Test the changes in a sample company before makeing changes in your company to make sure it does what you want.
