Hide Item Lists on Invoices

We are a small electrical contracting company. We typically use many parts in a given job. We don't want to show every item used on our invoices. Does anyone know of a way to hide the list of items on an invoice, so that only the subtotal or total of the items will show?

See Group Items in QB help. You can elect to not print the the individual items in group item.

We already considered the Group option, but we have hundreds of items, and each invoice has a different combination of items. We could create a Group for each invoice, but that would be cumbersome. Any other ideas?

You gave up on group items too soon. Set up a group with most of the stuff you sell in it. Add the group to an invoice and then set the quantity to whatever you sold or 0.
