Stupid Question, New to QB

I just got QB hours ago and my Boss wants me to customize an invoice report. however I can't add the $ sign to the columns "Rate" and "amount" and he is being anal about it. Someone please help !!

Adding dollar signs is not an option that I am aware off.

You can use Financial Statement Designer if you have that with your version (Look under Reports)

or

You can export the report to Excel, select the columns and change the number format to include the $ signs.

This will work. . .
