I have the Macintosh 4.0 Quickbooks. I am trying to enter a new company. All goes
well until I reach the page that asks for the starting date. When I enter a date,
everyting disappears. I can go in and find the new company's name but I cannot
open it to proceed. I delete all reference to the new company and start all over but as
soon as I put in the start date, all disappears. I have tried putting in the date in
different formats - 1/1/01 or 01/01/01 or Jan 1, 2001 or January 1, 2001, etc. but
always with the same result.
Can't check the manual because I can't find it.
