Historical W-2's

How do I access W-2's that are more than a year old. Drop down menu under Emploees/Process W-2's only gives me 2001 and 2002. Help

I have the same problem which occurred when I updated my payroll information for FY2002. If you updated using QB payroll service, there was a message box that data prior to 2000 may not be retrievable. I've tried everthing to retrieve it but found nothing. Instead, I've resorted to hard copies that businesses are required to keep, entered the data into MS Excel in the event I need the information.

You can't, for two reasons. 1) QB only has one version of the W2 form at a time, and pasting your old data on the new form would not give you the old W2's you filed. 2) Pasting the current data from prior years onto the form would probably not give you what you filed, either, as QB and your data may have changed since then.
Note also that to remain compliant you must keep paper copies of the forms you filed.
