Export an assembly item

In QB MFG 6.0 I can print an assembly item from the item listing screen which contains all the items within the build. But there seems to be no way to export that information out into an excel spreadsheet.

Anyone know how to do this?

In QB M&W 2005, when I export the item list in .iif format and then open it in Excel each assembly item is followed by a list of its components. You have to tweak the spreadsheet a little to make it more readable, but the data is there.

File > Export > Lists to IIF Files > Item List

If you have built an assembly with the assembly, you can go to the build screen, click Ctrl-Y, add quantity to the transaction journal report and export to excel.

You can also export the custom transaction detail report filtered for tranaction type Assembly Build to Excel.
