CLosing Date

Can any-one tell me where the closing date feature is on the 2002 Pro V. 9.

I cannot locate it in the company preference (accounting tab).

All other version I've seen have it, I find it strange that this version would not have it.

Has any-one worked on this version and how have you over come this problem. You input would be most appreciated.

its in the help screen lucy

you must be in single user mode
file menu>set up passwords>set up users
click closing date
type date and click ok

Also some other options if you want to do

also read "should you close your books"

I just went to try it but nothing is there on mine...but i havent set up for multi user and no passwords are set...maybe thats why?
