My business is primarely involved in the import/wholesale/distribution field.
At present we use QB Pro 2004 (UK) and I am wondering if there is any major benefit in making the switch to Premier Wholesale. I have checked many sites for info and comparisons but obviously haven't seen all.
Have any of the readers of this forum (in the wholesale/distribution business) changed from Pro to Premier and found the difference(s) worth the expense?
Something that could be of great advantage to me are the different price level options in Premier. However, I am not sure if I fully understand what I have read about them. Is the following possible....
For customer ABC I have decided to sell:
item 01 at standard price
item 02 at price level [+5%]
item 03 at a (not percentage based) negociated price, which is APPLICABLE TO THIS CUSTOMER ONLY.
The next customer, DEF, may have a negociated price for item 01 and the rest of the items at a percentage based price level established for that item and customer.
Now, when I issue an invoice for one of these customers, will the appropriate price pop up when I enter the item number?
Should the foregoing be possible, is there a means of automatically adjusting ALL prices, negociated or not. For example. ....my landed cost from a supplier increases by 7%. Can I specify that ALL selling prices for items from that supplier should increase by 7%? ( I have already set up the items from supplier XYZ as subitems of item XYZ)
Comments, URLs to look at, and suggestions are welcome.
