Scanner item list entries

I was wondering if anybody could tell me if they have experience of interfacing scanners for automatic entry of items in QuickBooks.
I would be obliged.

Do you mean BAR-CODE scanners.

The BAR-CODE Scanners that will work with Quickbook is the "PS/2 keyboard Wedge" type.

Such scanners emulate the keyboard so will enter the numbers or aphanumeric numbers of the code after translation into the field where your cursor is.
