Does anyone have any experience with a software that will import invoices that the contractor genterates in the field and wants to import into his QBs at the end of the day? I am looking at aggresoft and ECS Mobile on the addon site but would like to know about some hands on experience that your contractors have using these products.

There are some products listed on the Intuit Marketplace site at
http://marketplace.intuit.com/search.asp?category=211

that can transfer data created in the field (using QuickBooks on a laptop) to you office computer. There are user reviews on the site.

We are about to release a product on the US market that will extract Invoices, Sales receipts, Sales Orders, Estimates, Customer Payments etc from one QuickBooks file and import them into another. It works very simply and does not require extra databases as another product does. We do everything in memory. Harder for us, but makes it easier for you. It can even automatically email the transactions to an address and add a class to every transaction. If the two computers are connected over a network, extracting an importing is extremely simple and fast. We have a client in Alaska sending Invoices to Salt Lake City for the accounting, where a small utility imports from the attachment. It is expected to sell at $US99.00. If you are interested, email me. My address is on the forum.

Aime,

I use the transaction copier from bigredconsulting on a weekly basis (his is not on the marketplace because the program still uses the .iif format) and I've also used q2q from Karl Irving a good bit.

Either program will work for what you need. There are also several others listed on the marketplace and I'm sure whatever John is developing will be an option.

Rox :-)
