I am running QuickBools Pro edition 5 for Mac. I am trying desparately to get a backup to the accountant who runs Quickbooks Pro 2004 for Windows.
They are unable to read my file. Is there some different way to save when wanting to be read by Windows??.
I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP. I am meeting with accountant tomorrow!
I have 7 years of data on my iMac OSX and NEED to be able to have the accountant access it on their PC.
Did you look for instructions in your Help Index?

I take it you are kidding...or you are being sarcastic Of course , I read all the directions and Help index.
It was not anywhere because it is impossible to do with Quickbook Pro 5 for Mac.
After calling Intuit, I found that the problem was that there is a patch for QuickBook Pro 5.0 for Mac which I did download and now I have QuickBook Pro 5.0.1. QuickBook Pro 5.0.1 does work and the Help index of this version does explain it.
It is interesting that as a QuickBooks Certified Pro Advisor you didn't realize that.
I hope this helps someone else.
A QuickBooks Pro Advisor in the Windows is not required to and has nothing to do with the MAC version of QuickBooks. In fact the Certified Pro Advisors are tested and certified in each particular version year and may not be in others. But for the most part the program basics work the same in most of the Windows versions. I have never used or even operated a MAC computer.
As for the Help Index, the bulk of the people who write into the forums have never even looked at the Help Index in their programs. They feel that it's easier to get a quick answer here even though they can get more detailed step by step info there. I was not trying to insult you. I was just asking if you had looked there. I'm glad you worked out your problem though.
