Are there any medical offices out there who have figured out how to use QuickBooks PRO to do HCFA forms for Insurance Companies? I would love to hear how others have dealt with this problem.

It seems like a company like Intuit which specializes in humongous complicated databases would be a shoo-in to produce a medical practice management software which did HCFA and EDI billing. Are they maybe waiting until next year when all the HIPAA/NPI transition idiocy is over?

What would be even BETTER is if it also included or integrated with an appointment scheduler and a notes/documentation database!

Do they not know that a small to midsize medical office will gladly spend $10,000 or more on a software package that can carry out these functions, and that the software available on the market today is pathetic compared to Quicken/Quickbooks products? Nah, they must not know, or they'd be DIVING into this market!
