I have a friend who has a small business using QuickBooks Premier Manufacturing 2004. Recently her desktop computer quit working and she took the computer to a large computer retail store for service. In order to access QuickBooks she had to enter a password. She also uses QuickBooks Customer Manager. My question is how much is there a risk that someone in
the service department can access QuickBooks Premier Manufacturing or QuickBooks Customer Manager and look at her customer's credit card information even though it is password protected? Does Quick Books Customer Manager show any credit card information? She is afraid that someone can get the credit card information from QuickBooks. I believe the data file
are encrypted. Any comments or suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you.
