maybe u can find it kind of strange or hard to believe, but , here in honduras , in central america, almost like 99.9 percent dont use quickbooks or peachtree or anything similar to track business doing. many here use programmers graduated from local universities which I believe that are lying to the market and billing quite high wages. Ive been using qb for about 6 years in my own businesses, started with basic, now with pro 2002, and really with the objective of a feeling of awakeness, and profitability for all, pls, comments......

QB is using the same programmers at the exact same rate, or higher, But they sell millions of programs and that is why the QB program is at this price level.

Consider this: there are some people who think that YOU also charge too much for whatever you sell. And so they go and buy something less than what you have, and learn to live with it.
And many businesses have much larger 'needs' than what QB offers. So they create their own accounting software that does EVERYTHING as they want it.

Judging from the "Programing" business, it is needed, and it is NOT too expensive, otherwise those businesses would use QB just like you.

And while a "Ferrari" is far too expensive for me, it is NOT too expensive for some, and the car is VERY VERY GOOD, even though I can NOT afford it.
So live and let live, says the wise.
