hi..
i'm a new member..i've got problem with the imported data. i've imported a transaction data in sales accounts.but when the import process is done, the data is not in the account..what could be wrong? can some one show me sample format data in spreadsheet to import...

Writing an IIF requires that it be EXACTLY right. Unfortunately, the format in Australia is different to the US, so I can't show you what we do. There are samples available on the US Intuit site - do a search for "IIF".
The best way is to have a look at what others have done and use them as a template. There is also some help in the QuickBooks help file. But it makes more sense after you actually understand it. The basic info is all there - it just doesn't really make sense until you have learnt about it.
The headers must be correct and the entire transaction in balance. If you do not have it right, it will simply not be imported. If you have a number of transactions and one is wrong, it will import up to that point and then fall over.
We have found that it really doesn't matter in what order the data is placed, it must simply be correct.
